The best thing to do is to look at the job feed in the early morning or late at night. You’re going to find some people who need stuff done really urgently and if you can make it clear that you can hop on right now and do what they need, there’s a very strong chance that they’re going to hire you because they just want to get the project done.
That’s probably the best bet because those are really hot leads, they just posted the job on there and they want to get their project started.
The problem with finding simple small jobs is that a lot of people are applying for them and it’s highly competitive. You want to make sure that you’re not looking for low priced stuff. If you see something relevant, get on it immediately. If you can apply and have a nice proposal showing that you’re at the computer right now and available to chat, that’s going to go a long way.
