Of course! If you have any work-related experience, put it in your portfolio! List it out. It’s going to help you get noticed and build your authority to show that you know what you’re doing.
Include your own side projects if they’re cool. If it’s copywriting and there are stories that you wrote for yourself, include links if they’re really good. Especially in writing, it’s nice to have some samples so that potential clients know that you can write well and do copy.
